OUR LOCAL OFFER

We believe that every child brings his/her own understanding and skills to the setting to enrich its tapestry.

It is our duty of care to nurture such talents in the best way we can.

We follow the principles and guidance of the Special Education Needs and Disability Code of Practice 0 to 25 years (DfE, 2015) which states that regards must be given to:

  • The views, wishes and feelings of the child or young person and their parents

  • They must be included as much as possible in all decision making with information and support

  • Support must be given to the child or young person to help them achieve the best possible outcome in preparation to adulthood

Upon these principles, we work together with the families and specialist advisory teams (where necessary) to support all children reach their full potential whilst in our setting and within the best of our abilities.

Our SEND Co-ordinator: Fran Kamupira

Our Behaviour Co-ordinator: Nicola Mackert
